Dr. Jasmine C. Champagne graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine knowing she would dedicate her entire career to feline medicine & surgery. She proceeded to work at a feline specialty clinic in Ormond Beach, Florida. She worked with two board-certified feline specialists in one of only 3 veterinary clinics in the United States with more than one ABVP feline specialists. She moved on to work at a prestigious feline exclusive clinic in Tampa, Florida. Her dream was always to come back “home” to Acadiana and open a veterinary clinic exclusively for cats and the people who love them. Her special interests include feline internal medicine and ultrasound.

Dr. “C” is originally from Abbeville, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She enjoys the everyday adventures of life with her husband, Chase, blind kitty, Murdock, and sweet dog, Gwen.

Laura grew up in Rayne before continuing her education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Since high school, she has taken care of pets for family and friends as they traveled including horses, cats, dogs, bearded dragons, gerbils, and parakeets. She has worked in various reception jobs including in higher education, the Girl Scouts, and freightliners, and is proud to join the veterinary team here at the Cat Clinic. She lives with her husband, son, and 4 pets: the cats, Ollie and Percy, a betta fish named King, and their dog, Giovanni.

Kelsey grew up in an environment surrounded by an abundance of different animals. She watched her father and grandfather tenderly care for dogs and cats as well as train horses. She has known since an early age that she wanted to work with animals. She is Cat Clinic of Lafayette’s first RVT, a proud graduate from Northwestern State University from the Veterinary Technology program. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. She happily resides in Lafayette, La with her two cats Sabor and Avocado Fitzgerald.

Ava grew up in Abbeville around an animal loving family. Her love for cats and all living things has lead her to begin her college degree of Biology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. With this degree, she hopes to find a career in the medical field (maybe even veterinary medicine). Ava can be seen around the clinic doing nursing duties, working reception, and even some grooming. When not working or at school Ava is known to be at home with her two cats, Luna and Apollo.

Katie grew up in Youngsville, but her hometown is Eunice. She is a dedicated groomer with a passion for animals. Cats have a special way of bringing joy and comfort into our lives. Their playful antics, soothing purrs, and independent nature make them such wonderful companions. Whether they’re curling up on our laps or chasing after a toy, every moment spent with a cat is filled with love and warmth. She plans to go back to school soon to become a certified veterinary technician. She is proud to be a girl mom to Emma Lou and a cat mom to her three adorable fur babies: Queso, Salsa, and Margarita.
